Outlet Campgrounds A and B

Area “A” Campground

Area A is furthest from the Park entrance of the three in the Outlet section of the park. Follow the road straight through, past the Park Store and pass over the Outlet River Bridge. Take the first right to access Area A.

It includes 177 campsites. Approximately 30 of the sites are right at or across the road form the “Campers Beach” giving them the best beach access in the entire park. Other sites cover a large area back from the beach in more shOutlet Camping Area Aaded areas.

More of the trees in this area are deciduous with somewhat less underbrush at campsite edges. Sites are generally flat with varying amounts of privacy. All are suitable for tents and many for trailers.

There are two comfort stations, each with washrooms, showers and a small laundry. Vault toilets and water taps are spaced throughout.

Near the entrance to Area A is the boat launch area with a parking lot across the road for trailers.

Area “B” Campground

Area B is also over the Outlet River Bridge. Go straight through to your campsite. There are eleven pull-through campsites with electrical outlets straight ahead, the only ones in Outlet Areas. To the left is the main entrance to the remaining campsites.

Outlet Area B CampingArea B has 98 campsites, all suitable for tents. Some sites are on more than one level so unsuitable for trailers. Some of the most popular sites are located above and along the Outlet River allowing campers direct access for canoeing or kayaking.

There is one comfort station with washrooms, showers and small laundry. Vault toilet and water taps are spaced throughout.

The sites are generally quite private with some sun. Along the Outlet River there are some sites with lovely views of the river.

Areas A and B share a large garbage and recycling area just back over the bridge on the northern side of the road almost opposite the entrance to the additional vehicle and amphitheatre parking lot. Entrance to the Woodlot and Boat Rental area is just past the recycling area, again on the north of the Outlet road.
