What's It All About?

For many years Sandbanks Provincial Park has hosted a nature walk by well-known Park Naturalist Yvette Bree. Yvette will host an easy and informative walk, showing and discussing the Park's spring wildflowers, including such early bloomers as Red and White Trilliums, Marsh Marigolds, bellwort and others.

Meet at the Park's Visitor Centre just past the Outlet Beach entrance.

This relaxing walk is both wheelchair and stroller accessible with modifications... the inquisitive participation of young children is encouraged!

After the walk, guests are invited to return to the Maple Rest Heritage House (map below) for complimentary afternoon tea and entertainment.

Works by local artist Catherine Reilly will be on display and entertainment will be provided by popular local musician Fraser Hardman.

Period costumes will be worn by our genial hosts!
