Mother's Day 2017

On Mother's Day May 18th, 2017, Park Naturalist Yvette Bree conducted a very successful wildflower walk at the south end of the Outlet Beach. Over 25 enthusiasts were shown a beautiful carpet of trilliums at their spring best, as well a numerous other native flowering plants.

After the walk, participants enjoyed tea and scones at Currah's, with local musician Mark Despault and artist Catherine Reilly rounding out an afternoon that was both fun and educational for visitors of all ages.
