No day at Sandbanks would be complete without a visit to the Friends' Dicovery Shop, located in the Visitor Centre just inside the Park entrance to Outlet Beach.(see map below)
Operated by tireless volunteers of the Friends of Sandbanks, this is the place to find the best souvenir gifts that say "Sandbanks Park"!

Our long-time Friend and Nature Shop Manager Penny Sipkes has a knack for finding just the right merchandise for our visitors!
We are especially proud of our own publication, Sandscapes, Exploring the Dunes of Sandbanks Provincial Park. From early geology, through the ice ages and the physical forces that created this unique landscape, this well-researched and illustrated book edited by local naturalist and long-time Park employee Yvette Bree, will tell you all you need to know about the Sandbanks!

All purchases in our shop support the Friends of Sandbanks in our many projects, and all proceeds remain within the Sandbanks Provincial Park to fund our educational and interpretive programs.

Hours: 10h00 - 16h30 daily, (closed Wednesday).
